| Network Manager 4.0 is not updating the player. The "update queue" reports "updating" but there is no progress at all. Through Network Manager, there is control of the player PC (player restart, player reboot, view playback, etc.) but no updating of the INFOCAST. Any ideas from anyone? |

We are not running NM 4.0 here but I have seen this problem before....
For us, the Infocast got corrupted on the file server. What I would have to do it, delete the Infocast on the players, and on the file server completely. Then open the Infocast (and in some cases, do a save as, and rename for a "brand new" Infocast) and re-publish the Infocast to the file server. Then send the Infocast as new to all the players needed.
Also I have found that the NM does not always update automatically and via hitting F5. I find restarting the NM is the way to get a true sense of what is going on. _________________ Pain is Temporary; Pride is Forever |

| We solved this with the help of Customer Support Desk at Infocaster. I am sorry to admit it but the problem was with our setup. But it is solved now. |
